Of strength training! If you love cardio, that’s fabulous.. I envy you, wish I were you, etc. BUT, for a lot of us cardio just makes us feel plain sad and weak and out of breath. I’ve found weight lifting to be an empowering, fun and awesome way to lose weight. I’ve lost 16 pounds now, and I don’t do any cardio. Building muscle is a fantastic way to burn fat and look more sculpted. And you won’t see me curling 2 1/2 pound dumbbells, I go for a weight that’s challenging and suitable for me. There is absolutely no way that you will turn into a beastly looking man-person if you lift weights. We just don’t have the hormones in our bodies for that to happen naturally. If anything, it accentuates our curves and makes us look more womanly. Plus there’s no better way to get a hot ass than to do squats :) So next time you’re at the gym and dreading getting on the treadmill, go to the free weights section instead!
